Correct Price Guarantee with Active Oahu

Pricing on the checkout page comes directly from the tour operator, therefore, pricing listed on the website may vary from those in the checkout due to the tour operator changing the prices without notifying us. If you notice any prices are not correct, Contact Us so that we can update that information.

The price at the checkout is always the correct and accurate price and will be the same price you will pay if you were to book direct with that tour operator. We protect you against arriving at a destination and finding the same tour or activity offered at a lower price from our operator.

Discount Codes

We believe you should get the lowest price possible offered by the tour operator. Many tour operators offer online booking discounts and we try to make sure those are posted on our website. We try to keep those updated, but sometimes they expire or change. If you notice any discount codes don’t work or are missing, Contact Us so that we can update that information.

Once we were in the water it was so surreal, like an out of body experience in a giant blue room! The sharks were beautiful and elegant watching them around us felt so relaxing I'd recommend for anyone and everyone to do this.

"We went on the 7:30 am swim and saw 38 sharks on our trip. I recommend buying the GoPro footage, as they got great shots of us swimming in the ocean with the sharks….One Ocean Diving does a tremendous job on conservation, education, and research. They do research on shark behavior and conducts population counts."

Activity Overview

People can interact safely with sharks if they have the right knowledge. The guides at One Ocean Diving are a source of this knowledge on this shark research snorkel. They are shark experts, biologists, conservationists and dive masters. They hope to show the true nature of sharks by letting people swim alongside them, unrestrained, in their world.

Why should we care about sharks?

There are many reasons people should care about sharks. They have been on the planet for around 400 million years and they are an important part in our global ecosystem. They eat marine life that is sick or dead and keep the oceans cleaner than what they would be otherwise.

It is next to impossible to care about “scary evil sharks.” It’s not hard to imagine that most people would prefer to have oceans without sharks. Unfortunately, this is a possibility.

What you may learn on the shark research snorkel

Overfishing and other human affects are decreasing shark populations dramatically.  Movies and media paint them in a negative light which instills a sense of fear into anyone who swims in the ocean. But the world needs sharks. One Ocean Diving hopes more people will recognize this and do what it takes to protect them.

Not only will you get to swim with sharks for a once in a lifetime experience, but you might walk away with a greater concern for the future of these animals. Imagine what it would be like to make eye contact with one of these creatures as they swim gracefully past you. Something might change in you.
